Update on services for Kevin Gfell

More details to come, but it looks like there will be services in Fort Wayne (see post below) as well as a memorial in Indianapolis for those who can’t make it to Fort Wayne.

Kevin was a good friend of mine throughout law school and after. There were a group of about 5 or 6 of us that stuck together during school, and, after reading the comments, it’s reassuring to hear that we knew the same Kevin all of you did. One of my colleagues and I always said that if we were accused of a capital crime, we’d want Kevin defending us (even though he wasn’t a criminal lawyer). His intelligence, wit, and confidence were unmatched. I admired him for all of those things, and I’ll miss his friendship. My heart goes out to his family, his brothers, his colleagues, and his friends.
